To provide an environment that promotes networking and entrepreneurial mentoring for professionals in life sciences, and to create opportunities of mutual benefit for local and international life science industries and educational institutions.

Goals

International BioMed Society (IBMS) was founded in 2001 by Northern California bioscience and healthcare executives to foster growth of the business of biotechnology and to enable entrepreneurial advancement in the life science community.

The society’s primary goals are:

• To provide educational events for professional growth in the field of life sciences.
• To provide a forum for leading professionals in life sciences to meet, network and exchange ideas.
• To proactively identify and meet the community needs on educational, professional and entrepreneurial related issues.
